A native to Los Angeles, Leonard “LennyG” Gonzalez influenced by his uncles began DJing at the young age of 10 and has been rocking the night club industry both locally and internationally for the past 27 years with his Open Format style of both the English and Spanish market.

BIO:

LennyG started from the ground up at the age of 13 doing private events such as weddings, birthday parties, etc. where he then entered his first DJ battle at the age of 16 combining the hip hop influences of tricks and scratching enhancing his musical skills.

In the late 90’s Lenny worked as manager of Glendale’s very own Astro Records; DJing at various all age events and LA’s underground Hard House party scene. From there he was given the opportunity to work under DJ Irene at the #1 All Ages Night Club Arena and Circus Disco in Hollywood.

Early ’00 Lenny worked with DJ Hideo mentor and Mixshow coordinator for 100.3 The Beat as his assistant. With the help and guidance from Hideo Lenny was fortunate to get hired at LA’s urban hip-hop station “100.3 The Beat” and was given the opportunity to be an on air mixer for the “Friday Night Beat Down” weekend Mixshow along with the Morning Show with John Sally.

In 2006 after a format change with 100.3 The Beat, Lenny moved over with the help of DJ Eddie One and began working at Latino 96.3, now under the name of Mega 96.3 where he began in promotions and worked his way to be an On Air Mixer for the Weekends, Mega Morning Show, and now the Afternoon Mix show every Monday – Friday.
