November is shaping up to be a big month for freestyle fans on the East Coast. Two major shows land within a week of each other: Freestyle Free For All takes over Atlantic City on Saturday, November 14, and the Miami Pre-Thanksgiving Freestyle Concert follows on Saturday, November 21. If you grew up on Latin freestyle (or you just found it on Groove 106), here is everything you need to know.

Freestyle Free For All 2026 – Atlantic City, NJ

When: Saturday, November 14, 2026, 8:00 PM
Where: Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 1000 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ
Tickets: Hard Rock lists tickets starting at $59 through Ticketmaster (resale sites are currently higher)
Extra: Hard Rock is also promoting an official freestyle afterparty at the property, ticketed separately

Freestyle Free For All has become one of the Northeast’s go-to yearly freestyle nights, and this edition is stacked. Ticketmaster’s listing names Lisa Lisa, TKA/K7, Brenda K. Starr and Coro, and the event’s DJ host Joe Zangie also lists Judy Torres, Cynthia, Rockell, The Cover Girls, C-Bank, the Jungle Brothers and Treach of Naughty by Nature, with more acts still to be announced. As with any multi-artist show, the lineup can change, so double-check the official listing before you go.

That is a serious run of hits for one night: “Head to Toe,” “Maria,” “I Still Believe,” “Can’t Let You Go,” “Change on Me,” “Show Me,” “Dreamboy/Dreamgirl” and plenty more. If you only know a few of those songs, our list of 15 freestyle classics every old school fan should know is a good place to start.

Miami Pre-Thanksgiving Freestyle Concert – Miami, FL

When: Saturday, November 21, 2026. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the show starts at 8:00 PM
Where: Miccosukee Casino & Resort, 500 SW 177th Avenue, Miami, FL
Presented by: Charlie Rodriguez Live Entertainment (tickets on Eventbrite; info line 786-277-2270)

Miami helped build freestyle, and this show celebrates that history the weekend before Thanksgiving. TKA K7 headlines, joined by Judy Torres, Betty D of Sweet Sensation, Lime, Rockell, Gucci of 2 Without Hats, Doral’s own Samy and more. Hits 97.3’s Vic Latino hosts, with DJ Jorge Santana and DJ Fate from Rewind 103.9 on the decks, and organizers say select artists will do a meet-and-greet after the show. Note that the Eventbrite listing says all sales are final, so plan before you buy.

Tips if you’re going

Buy from the official seller first. Prices on resale sites are often far above the box office.
Get there early. These are casino venues, and parking and security lines fill up on show nights.
Warm up with the classics. Put Groove 106 on during the drive. We play freestyle every week, and here’s how to listen anywhere.

Going to either show? Tag @groove106radio in your photos and videos, and we may share them on our socials. Can’t make it? Keep Groove 106 on and we’ll bring the freestyle to you.
